enjoyable experience

Pros: the staff, cleanliness & location for the metro
Cons: Cheaper food & beverages would be nice
the hotel was perfectly placed for the metro about 15 mins we visited both the emerates & Dubai malls where collectively there are more than 3000 shops !!! drinks in the hotel were £12 a pint of Heineken corona £9 per bottle Me and the wife are not big drinkers but felt it quite expensive at those prices there was a small garage about 5 mins away where you could stock up on water and snacks 2AED for water in the hotel 20 AED the hotel allowed you to take drinks in and even allowed you to drink them by the pool after holidaying in many all inclusive hotels I suppose you kinda get spoilt but I suppose in Dubai its the norm breakfast was £12 pp but we had a discount of 25% it was a buffet type with loads of choice the red lion bar was ok for a couple of drinks during happy hour £6 per pint but smoking was a problem in this bar which rather spoilt it, it was like going back 10 years but to see one of the locals in full regalia totally inebriated was so funny whilst staggering to and from the toilets Burg Khalifa is a must visit totally amazing and the sister hotel Habtool is worth a visit 100AED pp although you could probably visit for free and use their facilities we will definitely be returning to Dubai but stay in a few hotels rather than just the one

Nice and uncomplicated hotel

Pros: Reliable and uncomplicated staff
Location: Located next to a busy highway and opposite McDonalds. A really big and useful grocery store is two blocks away.
We were there for four nights for the Ironman 70.3 race at Jumairah Beach. The hotel was ideally located for this purpose with friendly and uncomplicated staff. Parking Lot which was always free is directly in front of the hotel. We first got a smoking room which was changed immediately. Everyone was helpful and on raceday the hotel even provided an early breakfast for the athletes. Everything was clean and although our room was facing to the highway it was no problem to sleep. Two fresh water bottles per day are brought to the room and the breakfast buffet was intercontinental and satisfying.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unseren Aufenthalt im Metropolitan Hotel Dubai. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, super Essen in Buffetform und mit der Metro sind all Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar. Jederzeit wieder!

Hôtel plus que propre Personnel très agréable et professionnel Sympathique piscine sur le toit avec Hammam et spa. Le restaurant est très bon service de voiturier gratuit très appréciable . Petite attention particulière pour mon anniversaire : livraison en chambre d’un gâteau d’anniversaire
