Terrible service. Not all staff are friendly. Guy at reception is very argumentative. For my anniversary i enailed them in advance letting then know it was my anniversary and to decorate the room. I was told it would be done. Got to my room and was disappointed and it wasnt done. Room view is rubbish when you ask for palm view/ sea view. You overlook buildings. Would not stay here again

Rooms were nice but the decor was a little older in comparison to other 5 star hotels in Dubai, especially those on the palm. Disappointing to not have been pre informed the beach was going to be closed on the dates I’d booked for. The hotel did provide a car service to a closeby beach area but this isn’t the same as being able to walk there from the pool, which is what you pay for! More of a 4 than 5 star hotel. Lovely breakfast though and staff were friendly.

Hotel and staff were excellent and can’t fault them, room was superb. However, and this overshadows all the above, the works on the beach far exceed the description provided prior to booking. They are not adjacent to the property, they are directly in front, the noise is not intermittent, it is constant - the hotel staff told us work was 24hrs a day! This really changes the feel of the hotel, probably 50% of the beachfront of the hotel are taken up by the works and to get through to the beach you have to walk through the building site. Furthermore the pools and the beach are surrounded by partitions to block out views of the works which look pretty poor. Appreciate the works are not the fault of the hotel but they need to be more honest and upfront so people are aware. Literally every guest we spoke to (or overheard!) said they felt the warnings were very insufficient and not clear. When the works are finished it’ll be a lovely place, but at the moment the building works ruin the ambience of the hotel, if you want a relaxing peaceful stay this is not the place for you.
