Nice hotel

A pleasant surprise

Pros: Staff are great.
Location: Location not so good, but taxis relatively cheap and metro convenient.
We were asked if we would like an upgrade to junior suite which included evening drinks and nibbles. Also breakfast. Cost of around £65 ish per night for both of us. We did and it was well worth it. Hotel staff were so friendly and happy. Room was big and bath tub superb. Toiletries included. It is a bit out of the way. Got a taxi to metro station and used metro after that. So safe and easy to use. Would recommend.

Nice hotel close to city and airport

Very nice hotel my experince from checkin to to checkout was excellent rooms very clean nice bathrooms amazing view of Burj khlifa

Business trip

I have stayed in Melia in Spain & other parts of the world. This one falls short. The location is very poor. The entrance to the hotel is front the underground car park. There are too many facilities that the reception does not even bother to explain. The staff is friendly & efficient. The building looks tired even though I was told it is fairly new.

Excellent

WOW! what a hotel at a place. Just right for all. Name it and its there. from shopping to dining. Its a right place to be. I have been there twice already and loved every single moment. Staff are so and friendly and they are always willing to help. The service is exceptional but price for single people are fairly expensive but I guess its 5 star hotel that's why.

Marvelous experience

First the area is 'developing' and has a long way to go. Mostly old resedential apartments and empty sites. However like everwhere in Dubai it seems totaly safe. While it is not in very interesting area it is central to everwhere. Entrance to hotel is through underground garage - nice when you come in car as there is no need to leave the airconditioned environment. However walking out seems strange. Inside it is a new modern style hotel in imaculate condition- glass, marble and stainless steel. Rooms beautiful but my wife thought the dominence of brown color was dull. Bathroom or rooms is amazing - seperate, bath area, shower, toilet, basin area. The tv is interesting - it is a big mirror that shows your programs when you press remote. We did found it hard to get air conditioning to change temperature. Service again amazing - just details like wanting ice - a phone call and it arrives in about 3 minutes and of course no charge. Roof top pool has great views. it is kept immaculately. Service amazing. Towels to order. Attendent was superb. Plenty of beds and 3 Cabans and we usualy found one available - no charge of course. Sauna and steam room are seperate for ladies and gents. Spa good. Dont forget the "MAS" card - sign up on line or at reception for good discounts including free breakfast for room mate every morning. 20 minute walk to metro station or of course taxi at about 3 euro. Marvelous experience.

Lovely but too far

Nice hotel but out of the way from all the sights, had to get taxis to literally everywhere. Since hotel is relatively new the bars were quite quiet and sometimes staff didn't exactly know what was going on

J'ai adoré le design de l'hôtel, le rooftop, ainsi que le service, j'ai trouvé des gens tres avenants, surtout a la réception ainsi que le concierge. LE point négatif pour moi est le fitness... Vraiment décevant, il est sale et pauvrement équipé, tout le contraire de ce que laissaient présager les photos.
