Nice hotel, great value for money & friendly staff. John the Housekeeper looked after us very much, I have 3 very messy kids and he was really good to us.

We didn’t go to the beach but it appears close . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good hotel overall.

We initially had an issue with the room as we booked for 3 adults and were given a room with 2 small twin beds. Not nearly enough room for us all to sleep. We complained and were told we would need to pay to upgrade to change rooms. £180 extra EACH we had to pay. We was not impressed. The new room had a king bed and a CAMP bed. For the additional cost, a proper bed would have been appreciated. Room aside, the hotel was clean, in a great location and staff were lovely. Breakfast and the horizon club benefits were nice. We would recommend the hotel but not for 3 adults. Would be great for a couple.

THE FAMILY FREINDLY HOTEL

Pros: The size of the rooms, friendly staff and the incredible dining.
Cons: Senier level staff did not mingle with the guest.
Location: It was in the financial area next to the burj khalifa.coffee shops, fast food, fine dinning and supermarkets
Excellant stay, the staff are so friendly and they looked after my family so well.

We arrived earlier than check-in time, but we were given a wonderful and warm welcome and allowed to take breakfast before the lounge closed. We have stayed at several Shangri La hotels now and they have never let us down. The gym is fully equipped and all very well maintained. The only negative comment I have is that the poolside drink prices are far too high and that spoils the relaxing experience. However drink prices in Dubai hotels all seem to be ridiculously high.
