Firstly would like to say I was a returning customer to blooms hotel after a successful trip a little time ago, however I feel this property has went down hill considerably. After check in we discovered our room was very very small considering the cost we paid, our bedding and throw on the bed where dirty as well as loose dirt on the floor suggesting not much had been cleaned. Due to the floors being tiled through the room even the slightest noice from adjoining and upper rooms you could hear very loud, someone walking on the floor with shoes/ heels on above sounded as though they where within our room. At the point of booking there was no mention of construction works in the nearby streets our room was overlooking a construction site, the only Positives from this hotel now are its location & the adjoining Vat House Bar! Which is one of my favourites in the area. I was left disappointed after this visit as the hotel has let down my expectations of the previous trip and now I feel I will not be returning unfortunately.

Great location, great staff, nice room... BUT wish I had know there was a nightclub underneath. Started in room 117 but couldn't sleep a wink with the nightclub music. Especially at 3am kick out. I know.. why didn't we just go to the nightclub? It was a private event and we did for a bit on the second night... But after drinking all day... Hotel do provide earplug so we went to get some but unfortunately they were out of stock so they were really accommodating and moved us up a few floors. Still woke up to kick out but much better than first night! Can't fault anything else about the hotel! Was lovely!

They could do a lot more to minimise noise. Maybe a black out blind would stop the room getting so hot when you have to sleep with the windows closed. Shower is impossible to get to a nice temperature. Beds and bedding are nice but bed slides away from the wall so you have to get up to slide it back. On a positive note the hotel itself is nice. Breakfast was really good. The bar downstairs was fun. Location brilliant. Big mirror in front of the dressing table with plugs and lights! Oh and plugs next to the bed!

Excellent location,

Pros: Central location
Cons: Larger towels, our room wasn't cleaned on Sunday
Location: Excellent location
The hotel reception created a very good impression. When we arrived we were able to leave our bags prior to check in and were told our room had been upgraded. Upon entry it was very small but adequate. However the bathroom had black gunk oozing out of the tiles every time we had a shower.

Noisy and needs attention.

Pros: Nice bar.
Cons: Cleanliness and noise levels.
Location: Great location for Temple bar.
Mold in the room, right above night club with single pain windows. For a cheap lads weekend it will do but anything else look elsewhere.

Sehr nettes Personal. Sauberkeit ok. Leider läuft kaum Wasser in der Dusche, was Haare waschen zu einem längeren Prozess macht. Die Lage ist perfekt.
