Good location for 3 arena

Friendly & efficient staff. Room pleasant & spacious. Only negative was the bathroom cleaner used smelled off or was damp. Fine If left door closed. Shower pressure may be an issue for some guests as weak. Pleasant stay.

Fab location

We walked to everything we wanted to see Guinness factory, Jameson tour, temple bar - easy access straight into town . A lovely dock lands area just across the road . Staff were more than helpful. Hotel spotlessly clean. We were 40 mins late for breakfast one morning and they still said come in . Would definitely stay there again.

Worst night sleep ...EVER!!

Before I start, this is not a hotel bashing review -rather some constructive criticism for a hotel I have stayed in more than a few times. Recently rebranded to the Clayton chain, the biggest selling point this hotel has is the proximity to the Bord Gais Theatre, and once again this was the reason we had our post Xmas / pre New Year break in Dublin. The rebrand doesn't seem to have changed much, with the same familiar layout and relaxing bar and lounge areas. Breakfast is as chaotic as ever, with the single fruit juice area not adding to the flow of guests and as for the seating right in front of the buffet queue...please sort that out, people want to have their breakfast without everyone else staring down their throat. But my main complaint is with the sleeping arrangements...at first sight the room was perfect, good sized triple room with an actual single bed and a modern flat screen tv >20 inches. But then came the time to sleep...DO NOT get a room at the front of the hotel, you may as well be trying to sleep in the central reservation of the M1. Don't remember when my wife and I eventually collapsed, but when wokened by the leaf blower at 7am the next morning (I kid you not) we felt truly ready for a good kip. In fact, if we had not been able to get moved right there and then to a room at the back of the hotel, albeit a much inferior room, we would have checked out that day and headed straight home after the show (which fyi was Fantastic!). So before the next time we stay, please sort out the soundproofing!! PS...please show the barstaff the right glasses to use for cocktails. We will be back, and I hope to be able to report on the improvements.

20th wedding anniversary trip

The hotel is lovely and staff are very friendly, especially Derek the consearge. Amenities are great and the hotel bar is great with fantastic food. We had an executive room which was fantastic, clean and a lovely balcony. Would definitely recommend. There was a large group of us, 18, and whatever we asked like sitting at breakfast together, including decorating our friends room with baloons and banners they were happy to accommodate.

3 nights in Dublin

The Maldron hotel was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very kind and helpful and we certainly enjoyed our stay there. Although we didn't really use any of the hotel's facilities so we can't review them, we enjoyed the comfort of the room and the delicious full irish breakfast that was served every day. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel

Great hotel, great staff and room quality. Both the Aircoach and Green Bus Tour stop outside so although the hotel is not exactly central it is only 5 mins from all you need.
