Comfortable and very cosy for Christmas

We stayed on a Christmas Eve and the hotel was really beautifully decorated. Breakfast was very busy, and we had to wait for a while in the lounge bar, but had fizz whilst we waited. The room was comfortable and modern, but nothing particularly exciting. The toiletries were strongly perfumed with lemongrass, so make sure to bring your own if that's not your taste.

Beautiful hotel

Venue is beautiful and luxurious facilities. Our room was nothing special though. Noisy and bit cold even with air conditioning especially in the bathroom. I guess that's what you get when you pay less than 100e night in such a beautiful place.

Lovely hotel...but no escape from lively Dublin!

Its a busy hotel; the bar, restaurant, lobby etc. Dublin centre is lively (10 mins in a cab, quicker and just as cheap as the bus) and so is this hotel, especially with the wedding season in full tilt! However, calm, peace and comfort are to be found on the other side of your bedroom door....and a lovely bedroom it is aswell!

exploring dublin

Overall very good. Reception staff polite but functional. Restaurant staff excellent. It's the little things that matter hence my only real criticism was lack of a toothbrush and paste on arrival. International clientele arriving from all over would appreciate handy pack as you get on long haul flights. Would I stay again.? Most definitely YES!! Robert Crooks.

Ostentasious with style

Happy guests, pleasant staff, clean room, quite fun more like a replica castle than a genuine one. Handy walk to coast through quite a nice residential area. Several restuarants to choose from along the seafront. We found a great noodle bar. Palm trees along seafront.
