A very good location for a weekend with friends in Dublin. Some excellent places to eat within walking distance. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We would definitely use The Grand Canal Hotel again.

Very nice hotel and courteous staff.

Been to Dublin quite a lot over the years and picked this hotel as I'd never stayed there before and wanted somewhere nice for my girlfriend and I. Taxi driver from the train station told us it was a good choice and he wasn't wrong. Room was a nice size, everything clean and tidy, reception area looked very good with the Xmas tree and decorations, good selection for breakfast and the bar attached is super for both food and drink. Only slight negatives were our phone in the bedroom wasn't working for the whole duration of our stay so I had to nip down to the small cafe in reception to order room service, the temperature in the room was controlled by a TRV on the radiator and not a room stat, breakfast is a little expensive if it's not included (I actually think it should be included as standard) and bit of noise from bins in the yard being filled with empty bottles. All in all I would definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return in the future.

Great nights stay

We were down in dublin for eater rising weekend so expected it to be busy. The staff were great though and we even had breakfast in bed which was delivered promptly on time. Also room service was very quick when we came back from our night out. No complaints with this hotel a all. Great food in a nice restaurant. This was our 3rd time staying here so that tells you that we think it's great. Plus the dart (train) is literally just around corner for anywhere u want to go. Great hotel

family trip for show

Parking free, very accessible and convenient. Booking in very friendly and efficient. The food in the bar was very good value and very well cooked and presented with a varied a la carte menu. The room was very comfortable, very clean and good facilities. Overall a good experience as usual from a frequent visitor. Very convenient to Aviva and Dart station.Taxi's accessible and buses.

Stayed in this hotel as it was close to my sons apartment. Great variety for breakfast. Very convenient location but rather expensive.
