Got the cottage which was gr at but the noise on Sunday night was too much. Other nights mousey too but bearable. Fantastic location but big shame about noise. Maybe hotel rooms are quieter? The cottage would be ideal for a family group size wise but noise is a big issue.

Stayed in room 108 which is directly over a speaker it was so bad that the water on my locker had ripples in it from the bass. I was expecting noise but nothing like this. There was no hot water for a shower and when i complained i was told i had up until 12 to check out and i could wait and see if it got warm by then. I also complained about the noise and she said sorry but that us the worst room in which i asked why did they sell it when they knew about it. An absolute joke of a hotel wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff very very friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only area that i found fault with was the breakfast. The food was obviously cooked well before it was ordered. Thus the sausages were hard, the beans were overcooked and hard, the eggs were obviously lying there too for a long time. The coffee was absolutely appalling, it was just like hot water with what tasted like some charcoal/powdery substance added to it. It is not like the hotel could not afford to actually purchase some decent coffee with the obvious profits they make from the lunch service and the late night bar/disco they run. It is not too much to ask! Finally, the noise from the late bar/disco was not a problem for us (we read about it from the website) however, being a professional musician myself, the level of the Bass from the sound system was/is totally unnecessary. Acoustically, Treble sounds do not travel the same way that Bass frequencies do, so they could actually turn it down a little!

Used to go here years ago.

Used to go here years ago but now it is run down and shabby. I found a female door person very rude when I was going up to my room at night. I was a 38 year old carrying a cup of tea so hardly looked like a party animal. The breakfast is poor. Not even a cheese selection. I would not go back.

Noisy, dated and smelly!

The smell once you entered the hotel of paint/pain stripper was unbearable. The elevator was so old fashioned and could barely fit two people. Rooms were ok but very dated. During the night we couldn't sleep at all due to the nightclub beneath us and breakfast wasn't exactly tasty! Staff we're ok but not very attentive. Good price/location though.

Pros: Yleiset tilat olivat prameat. Kukka-asetelmat olivat loistavat kuten joulukuusikin.
Cons: Ilmastointi olisi suotava. Happi loppui huoneessa.
Location: Kaikki lähistön nähtävyydet olivat kävelyetäisyydellä. Linnaan kannattaa tutustua.
