Fantastic location in central Dublin

Pros: Fantastic location
Cons: The smell in the bathroom
Location: You are close to the excellent Book of Kells expo at Trinity College. You are also right in the centre of the Temple Bar area.
Very friendly service. In the heart of Dublin, located very close to the 747 airport bus drop off point. Very good wifi. G Rooms are a bit on the small side but have all mod cons and surprisingly quiet given the location. Our room had a bit of an unpleasant drains smell in the bathroom but I suspect that was a one off.

hotel review

Pros: position for temple bar nightlife and central for visiting the various attractions around the city.
Cons: a/c units or each room have there own electric fans
Location: great location for everything
good hotel rooms s bit small and no a/c so gets very warm ,if you left the window open at night you cannot sleep because of the noise outside ie temple bar, but you are told that on the booking form, they do supply ear plugs but not everyone can use them . we found the bathroom to be very good and plenty of hot water, the room was very clean during our stay, and the staff very helpful, i would recommend this hotel providing you can put up with the noise outside.

Thanks Caroline

We booked in on Tuesday afternoon 1/12 and the ladies in the reception were very friendly and helpful. When we got to our room found that someone else had occupied it, we when back to reception and explained Caroline was very apologetic and treated us to a very nice upgrade and a drinks voucher for the bar..The hotel was perfect with a trendy reception area... Thanks again Caroline! We'll definitely be back.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, GREAT SERVICE AND RECEPTION

We went to dublin to attend my son's graduation and wanted a hotel close to Trinity College. Fleet street hotel is just mins away! the location of this hotel is fab... tesco just across the street, restaurants all around, and good ones too. highly recommend Boxty for a meal. grafton street is also close by. John at reception was lovely and helpful and welcoming. the hotel reception area is cosy with comfortable chairs which allowed us to sit for quite a few hours on our last day as we were stuck after checkout at 12pm due to the rain. the best thing about the hotel is the complimentary tea and coffee and biscuits at the reception area... such a treat after a day out :) thank you, we had a great stay. highly recommended. rooms come with hairdryer and tea making facilities too

It's very loude from both the outside and also the inside. You hear your room neighbours. Other than thar, it's a solid place.

not very soundproof

I stayed 1 night in room 101. Noise from outside in temple bar minimal as double windows. However our room separated from reception with double doors that everyone goes through. Can hear everyone and from 06am could hear cutlery+plates being sorted one after another.... At one stage I got up and closed doubled doors but 5 mins later they were reopened! You can also hear plumbing when other toilets flush. I did not leave comment as no pencil provided in room with card. Apart from this I had no other problem but this was an inconvenience.
