My 2 friends and I all in our early 50's had the most relaxing 4 day break in Hotel Villas Plat Croatia. It's a quaint place with the atmosphere of 80's Spain. Undiscovered, unspoilt, understated. The salt water pool was fabulous with uninterrupted views of the sea..Our pebble beach with cute drinks bar and loungers for rent €5 per day was idyllic. The restaurant on site was perfect for casual dining. Dubrovnik and Cavtat are all accessible by passenger 'ferry' from the jetty in Plat. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Don't expect 5 star quality but what you can expect is a wonderful very unique experience once you are willing to let minor issues go over your head.

Hyvä allasalue. Rauhallinen sijainti. Vesibussiliikenne Old Towniin oli mukava. Paljon rappusia joka paikkaan.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, ja yleisesti alue ja tilat olivat oikein siistit. Uimaranta ja allasalue tarjosivat hyvät puitteet uimiselle. Vesiyhteys Dubrovnikiin ja Cavtatiin suoraan alueelta oli mukava yllätys. Kyseessä on varsin iso kompleksi, joka on aikanaan ollut varmaankin varsin hulppea, mutta joka on aikojen saatossa päässyt rapistumaan. Majoituimme VillaBarbarassa, jossa tilat olivat kyllä siistit, mutta valitettavasti keittiönurkkauksessa oli selkeästi ollut vesivahinko, jota ei ollut korjattu. Vaurioalue oli peitetty levyillä, ja allaskaapista levisi ummehtunut homeen haju. Todella sääli. Ilmastointi toimi, mikä oli 34 asteen helteellä melkein välttämättömyys. Sängystä löytyi vuosikymmeniä vanha joustinpatja ilman petauspatjaa eikä hotellilla kuulemma muita patjoja ollut, joten toinen matkalaisistamme ei reissullamme nukkunut. Kohde on täynnä portaikkoja eikä kulkuramppeja ole, joten se ei sovellu liikuntarajoitteiselle lainkaan.

Huoneet isoja ja henkilökunta oli avuliaita. Allasosastolta upeat näkymät. Aamupala erittäin niukka, ei ollut mitään tuoretta tarjolla(salaattia, kurkkua yms).

Personal war teilweise sehr mürrisch, sagte nicht guten morgen und räumte den tisch ohne ein wort zu sagen ab. Es gab aber auch anderes personal das sehr freundlich war. Unser hotelzimmer hatte eine leicht defekte zimmertüre diese wurde erstnach einigen tagen repariert, ein riss in der klobrille, diese wurde erst ausgetauscht als die klobrille durchbrach, glühbirnen wurden nicht ersetzt wenn sie ausgestiegen waren. Bistro hat eine sehr eigene art zu kochen, dies ist nicht so lecker, wie man bei vielen gästen sieht. Im bistro wird man oft vertröstet bekommt aber um die versprochene zeit doch nicht das gewünschte getränk/essen, sehr lange warteueiten auf essen. Frühstücksbuffet ist immer das selbe essen, keine abwechslung. Orangensaft, apfeksaft und kirschsaft sind chemische geschmacksverstärker anstelle von richtigem saft. Liegestühle am strand sind sehr teuer. Die umgebung besteht noch im bau jedoch nur inaktiv. Ich finde den hoteleigenen strand nicht sehr schön, das wasser ist schmutzig dort. Pool ist mit salzwasser was ich sehr toll finde, jedoch hat es viel zu wenige liegestühle. Die hotelanlage ist sehr weitläufig und man muss seinen koffer selbst die unendlich vielen treppen jenach villas und zimmer hochtragen. In den villas gibt es keinen personenlift. Das Receptionspersonal hilft auch nicht tragen. Wifi hat es, aber bei zu langer nutzung fällt man aus dem netzwerk.

Ihan ookoo hotelli mukavalla allasalueella.Maksuton pysäköinti ja auto onkin varsin kätevä hotellin sijaintia ajatellen vaikka bussitkin kulkevat päätien varrella johon kuitenkin on jonkun verran matkaa.Olimme 9 päivän reissulla eikä huonetta varmaankaan siivottu sinä aikana sen kummemmin.Keittiössä todella vajavainen määrä astioita.Aamiainen ihan syötävää mutta vähän epäsiisti ravintola, mm.ampiaisia ruoissa syömässä.Paljon rappuja joten ei sovi huonokuntoisille.Kuitenkin hyvä tukikohta muita kaupunkeja ja kyliä kierrellessä.
