However, having arrived at around 3pm on a Saturday we were surprised to be left standing in the reception area for upwards of 20 minutes waiting to check in as there seemed to be no staff available. The day before our stay I had an email saying the restaurant was no longer open (one reason for staying was for the restaurant). the first night we ate out with friend as previously arranged. ...
