Generally very good. Bathroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the room. Breakfast excellent.

Hotel just outside the hustle and bustle of Durham

Only stayed the one night but room was clean and we'll set out, quiet and far enough from main road for a good nights sleep. Staff were very polite and helpful and will definitely be using this one again!

Fine for one night stay

Pros: Ease of parking
Cons: New bed and furniture
Location: Good location near Durham
Check in fast and friendly. The room was small and bed not that comfortable and there was a constant humming noise in the room. The bathroom was fine nice hot shower and large bath plenty of towels. Wifi was good. Plentiful supply of tea and coffee. Parking right outside the room.

Excellent hotel

This hotel is very comfortable with a very nice restaurant and bar. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and were well stocked with coffee/tea and biscuits. It is suitable for disabled people as the rooms are in a court yard and there are ramps into the main building. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it.

Worth a visit

Pros: See above. Lots of hot water.
Cons: Brighter lighting or better positioning of reading lamps in rooms. Bar designed for eating, comfortable seating for drinkers would be nice.
Location: Chosen for location, close to university to visit family.
Clean comfortable hotel, helpful staff, resolved a problem with the room promptly, good food, value for money.
