Watered down orange and apple juice at breakfast.

4 star hotel that isn't cheap, I don't expect the orange juice and apple juice at breakfast to be watered down so much it is tasteless. Says a lot about the hotel if the choose to do this. Very disappointing

Nice hotel close to Brighton Pier!

Nice old hotel on Brighton's seafront. Next to the famous pier! Can be noisy at weekends with night clubs in the area. The shower in our room was very poor too.

Just brilliant

Staff were so friendly in every section of the hotel. Breakfast is lovely you deffo won't go hungry staying here rooms are bigger than I expected and all within a short walk to everything. Great hotel

Pleasant 2night stay.

Very well situated for most of Brighton's attractions. Room warm, clean, comfortable and spacious, although not luxurious. Breakfast fairly good and plentiful. Had problem with noise through window during extremely strong overnight winds from sea, but efforts were made to rectify this. Probably one off, as this window was ill fitting. Would recommend this hotel as base for visiting Brighton, as good value for money.

Fabulous friendly getaway

We loved our stay. There was nothing to complain about. Room,Staff,food,and comfort of hotel was fabulous.Definitely stay again.

noise at weekend nights

It was perfect until Friday night, when the large noise started and went on after midnight. The same thing happened Saturday night. We couldn't really sleep. Apparently the noise was coming from a bar on the ground floor of the same building or bars nearby. I couldn't tell which.

Good but let down by some things

We selected this hotel for a winter break. The rooms were very large with plenty of wardrobe space and great sea views. House keeping didn't take place until late afternoon though. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and good but we had to remind them that we were still waiting for a special order after the rest of us had finished. The Bistro was 'ordinary' but there are plenty of other places to eat. The down side was very late night noise when the club turned out after 3 am.

Wonderful Hotel

From the Manager Riccardo being so helpful with checking in and giving us a sea view room, my sister and I found the hotel delightful and fully recommend anyone to stay. When we next return to Brighton we will definitely stay again at this hotel.
