Nice hotel, close to beach. Heating in room worked now and then. Gaps in windows made room cold. Carpets not vacuumed. No hot water on last night. The 2 lady receptionists were very friendly and helpful, especially Savanna. Odd days, they had no parking cards. Positives, great seaview, comfortable bed.

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to review us . We are sorry that the heating played up the day you were here , i can assure you that this problem has not been fixed , we have got new boilers and all our heating is fully up and running , regarding the gap in the window we have also repaired these . I apologise for the carpet not being vacuumed , i will chase this up with the housekeeping team as all our rooms should be hoovered. Parking tickets we have to get from the council and we were waiting for them to be delivered but we did get them a hour later from your arrival . We are glad you found our staff helpful , the view and our comfortable bed . we look forward to seeing you again Kind Regards

Sea front hotel

Slippery small entrance steps. Looks very old and tired . Dingy walk up to room. Housekeeping not great.. carpets need good clean and hoovered under bed. Rooms not very warm . 1 radiator set on max still not warm enough to heat room up . Separate wc no wash basin unless you walk other side of room to shower room This was quite small . Hotel needs renovating.

Our room

Reading reviews didn't have high expectations room was actually nice spacious & clean. Didn't have breakfast at hotel so hence can't comment.

Ideal to explore Eastbourne

Pros: The hotel is clean and the sea view rooms are very good.
Cons: Some en-suite are small but it does not spoil your stay.
Location: The shops are 10 minutes away. The hotel has an Indian restaurant attached. Other food is 5 to 10 minutes away if something else is preffered.
The hotel is ideal for seeing Eastbourne. It is 10 minutes from the City shops and 15 minutes to the Station. The sea is opposite and the pier is only 5 minutes walk.

Alive with bed bugs room 227 bitten alive

Discusting dirty room alive with bed bugs bitten alive both of us. The place is filthy so small in the bedroom you can't fill up kettle in sink it's too small. You sit on the loo slide the door accross it come of the hinges. Phone don't work bed bugs running around. The chair looks like a commode it looks like it's been wet. Falling through I will send pictures. Telephone not working. The hotel stinks. Lift full of rubbish. Not fit for purpose.

Nice hotel, great music and food

Pros: Nice lounge areas and view of the sea
Cons: Bigger bedrooms
Location: Near Eastbourne Pier. 15 minutes walk from the shops.
Really enjoyed the live music on Saturday night! Lovely reception area and Lounge. Buffet Full English Breakfast was also enjoyable, but could be served later than 10am. The bedroom was small, but comfortable bed.

Friendly and clean

Nice clean hotel, staff friendly and helpful, room was small but adequate, the dinner and breakfast was very good.. the only thing that lets the hotel down is the restaurant is in the basement with no ambience it had a cold dreary feel to it, on the hottest day of the year at breakfast we asked if a window could be opened to let a bit of air in , the reply was can't open them.. as I say nice hotel but this is a big no no , shame really.
