Nice hotel with good views, not far from the city centre. Good location for businesses overnight outside season. 7th floor rooms are small but very well maintained. I would stay there again.

Modern, clean hotel, and great value, too.

The View is such a lovely hotel. Modern and clean, and unlike many of the hotels in Eastbourne. This time I stayed in an Executive Room on the 5th floor which was a corner room so had two balconies, both overlooking the sea. The room was spacious, very, very clean, and well appointed with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits, a safe, an iron, a sofa-bed, two armchairs, separate shower and bath, king-size bed and a big TV. The location of the hotel at the Western end of the seafront is perfect for walking over the Seven Sisters, and equally close to the town centre. If you choose to stay mainly within the walls of the hotel, you'll find the food excellent. Breakfast is a (plentiful) buffet, and the coffee is good quality, too. There's a great choice, and the breakfast room is clean and beautifully decorated - a window seat over looking the sea is a great place to start your day! Every member of staff I have encountered has been very friendly and accommodating, and this visit was in December and the hotel looked appropriately festive, too! Parking vouchers are available for street parking opposite the hotel, so do make sure you ask to buy them (just £1 for 24 hours). The View is always my preferred hotel when I visit the area, and this visit did nothing to make me want to change that.

Lovely clean and modern hotel. Bar great place to relax and food good. Noise travelled up to my room on the 4th floor from the Christmas parties below and glass being recycled was a repeated sound throughout the evening.

This is a simple 3 star hotel, but it does its job very well. The economy rooms are small but modern, and reflected in the low price. A good typical hotel buffet breakfast is available in a room overlooking the sea. The staff are very welcoming. It is right on the sea front and parking could be a problem but they have a brilliant system of permits that cost £1 per day, and allow you to park right outside (ask at the desk). Drinks in the bar are reasonable too. It is about 10-15 mins walk from the town centre.
