This hotel cost £100 less for the night than the next cheapest hotel. The room was fine and the location is great. Check-in was delayed and took a long time. The bar doesn't seem to have set opening times and in general the hotel is very tired.

From dirty carpets to being a pub like environment. Outside it looks like a disused warehouse. Inside the carpets are so dirty, the staff looks overworked and rude, although they try to be helpful. No room service, people standing on the front door smoking all day. I’m not going back there again. It’s more of a pub than a hotel.

The property needs an extensive overhaul. Curtains in rooms was awful. It was not even hung properly on the windows. Bathroom extremely cold and no heater to warm it up. If this was meant to be a room for disabled people, how are they meant to shower? Someone in a wheelchair would not be able to shower. Must be honest did not rate the bathroom very much.

Most hotels that stayed in has free WiFi its a shame that we have to pay 7 pounds for 24 hours also been placed in the basements rooms where there is no phone signal cant call or text or use the internet but had to pay extra 20 pounds just to move rooms. New room was ok just wish that the windows can open abit more.

Receptionist very abrupt & unfriendly. General cleanliness very poor & whole site verydated. Needs to be deep cleaned & refurbished.Also send your staff on a customer service cours

Place was clean & tidy, Room looked like it was newly refurbished, was large and spacious. Bathroom was spotless. Only annoyance was the emergency light above the door, (possibly because room has no window). Bright green glow to the whole room all night... :-( Night porter was helpful and friendly even at 4am! He told me to park at coach area at front of property as there was no parking left at all, so I paid the £5 parking and left car at 4am sat (obviously no coaches were going to arrive after that) I went for car Sunday morning to find some plonker had left a hand written note saying they were going to report me to Police for parking in a coach space??? Even though this was advised by Britannia staff. Breakfast was very good but also very expensive at £12 !!! (Premier Inn are only £8). Apart from this my stay was excellent and would happily book again...

All commodities around the hotel were dirty! We even decided not to eat there due to cleanliness reason. The room was not better… several parts of the walls were almost falling apart and furnitures were damaged. I Won’t recommend at all!

On the reception the said to me, that I have to clean my room by myself !!!! The fruitsalad was from the box, for the coffee you got a small nescafépack. the bath was dyrtie, the towels and the Leintücher zerissen, viele vom Personal waren unfreundlich.... Es ist ein heruntergekommenes Hotel !!! und den Preis den ich dafür bezahlen musste nicht wert.
