Beautiful property, comfy bed, lovely room and great bathroom spotlessly clean. Could be hot and stuffy in summer as there’s no air con or any ventilation in room (save a window that does open) Checkout was terribly slow. They had only one staff member on front desk at a peak time in the morning and a long queue.

Overall lovely hotel great location but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Very disappointed with layout very confusing to get to our room. Spent a lot of time each time figuring it out terribly confusing. Would be just awful for older guests. Also a bit pricey.

Superb service at this lovely hotel

Pros: Just about everything...
Cons: Fresh flowers in public areas rather than silk ones
Location: Centrally locked - everything on your door step near tram too
I loved my short stay at this gorgeous hotel. You are guaranteed a warm welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is ideal. I really couldn't fault anything. Lovely bar - good house champagne. Fresh milk in the fridge/good tuck box. All the little touches that make a difference but the overwhelming strength of this hotel is the staff.
