Very basic but clean. Noisy area. Bathrooms are spacious but really need a bathtub rather than so much wasted space for a small shower! Rooms lack any storage area apart from a 6” hanging rail and 3 tiny open shelves. No bedside cabinets or shelving. Paper cups for tea/coffee do NOT work

This hotel is close to the station and ideal for buses and travel. The rooms are a good size, everything is clean and tidy, making it a pleasant stay. The reception staff are very helpful. Breakfast is well set out and constantly re-filled. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, just opposite the train station, xmas markets, and shops. Staff - especially Ian - are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a 3 month baby with us, and they sorted milk bottles and anything else we needed. It has a lovely bar area, which we had a drink. Would defo stay here again.

Avoid

We stay in this hotel for a night ! Location is good! Edinburgh was about 6 degrees! However the room temperature was about 28 degress, we are all sweaty! We tried to adjust the temperature, however its not even activated! I have booked another stay when i return! We decided to cancel When we checked out, i spoke to reception! Receiption said u can contact us to change room, fan provided or open window! However we did all of it except phoned at 3am to change room! Staff attitude is poor not even apoloised ! Avoid !
