Location wise, it's ideal. Right around the corner from the airport bus service. Close to all the main attractions as well. Very competent and accommodating staff. Nice rooms, comfortable bed, good shower- plenty of hot water. AC unit wouldn't produce heat so a heater was provided for the room when reception were advised. Decent breakfast.

This is always my choice of hotel when I visit Edinburgh. The staff are lovely, friendly and cannot do enough to help. Due to covid I hadn’t visited Edinburgh for almost 2 years and the lovely pleasant man on reception remembered me which really makes you feel valued

The charm of the old. I would have preferred a standing shower and also to have a clear view. I was grateful to have a minimal view.

Hotel in guter Lage. Alles zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Frühstück eher knapp und bescheiden. Lieblos und keine Auswahl. Aber ok. Das einzige negative war als wir um 21:15 an der Bar keinen Kaffee mehr bekommen haben. Die Maschine sei schon gereinigt….. für mich kein guter Service. Alles in allem werde ich aber wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.
