Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, both in taste and value. Very informal staff, Sara was lovely as was the chap in the bar, possibly owner? Only thing to improve upon would be a fan or two for the bedroom, it was a very humid day, and the humidity was unbearable at times. However this did not detract from our stay, we loved it.

Friendly staff

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed every moment. The staff were great and always on hand, were full of information about the local area. Dined in restaurant or bar each night and food was great (large portions as well). Plenty of choice at breakfast which set us up well for the day which included walks along the nearby beaches (the beautiful weather was a bonus. All in all a great few days and would not hesitate to visit again.

Nice hotel but room a disappointment

The staff and service was very welcoming and first rate, the only bad point was the bed was very uncomfortable and crafty the window rattled all night and the bed space was not suitable room was overpriced for what we received but aside from the let down of the room itself everything else was first class

Quiet place East of Endinburgh

Nice and small hotel (a few rooms) and very kind personnel. The restaurant is very good and when the wheather allows, you can even have a drink in the garden before dinner.
