Eight Acres Hotel & Leisure Club

The Staff were tremendous. The food, very good, I enjoyed the meals we had there. The building . . . well the proposed shut down for refurbishment can not come soon enough. I had to notify the desk of repairs needed and they were done the next day - so well done on that. The mould in the silicone sealant alongside the bath edge can be very easily removed and the silicone replaced, this would improve appearances so very much. The failure of the main water pump overnight of our last night, again a sign of the need for maintenance - and to have one pump for a essential service? That really should be assessed for upgrade in the upcoming refurb. I have checked again and can not find any mention that there is no lift in the building to the bedrooms on the first floor. I booked this as a break for my wife who had just suffered a mild stroke and, had I known there was no lift, I would have looked elsewhere. Finally, I must again state how good the Staff were, definitely this hotels biggest asset

The room was stinking,damp round the window, the bathroom was disgusting, the whole place is disgusting
