Housekeeping service very poor - had to request bedroom to be serviced on two consecutive days after being out all day and still not cleaned adequately. Rooms tired and bathroom window wouldn't close. Mattress needs replacing. Reception staff not very attentive but kitchen/bar/dining staff were good as was the breakfasts. Lovely location and grounds very well kept.

Perfect hotel and definitely would be back

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and location
Cons: Everything on High class!
Location: Good location to stay away from your busy life.
There are no words to describe my experience. Having read the reviews while booking, I was excited and was looking forward for the stay. When the final day has arrived, it was beyond the reviews I read. Perfect clean room with comfort blankets, very well serviced rooms with Molton Brown toileteries, appealing location and even more friendly staff. Not to forget mentioning the breakfast service, the staff member, Maggie, such a sweet lady. She has made us feel heavenly with the deliciously made Hot chocolate and the fresh baked Pecan! I just asked if they have more Pecan Plait in kitchen, she can us no as it is almost the breakfast service closing time, where most of the hotels do. However she said Yes and freshly baked and presented for us with a smile. I cannot stop praising, each and every bit of the hotel and the staff has impressed me. So much impressed that I have opened my laptop right away on reaching home to write the review. Will be definitely looking forward to get back for the second stay. It gives life a King size. Special note to the staff, keep up your Good Work!

Brilliant hotel

Very friendly staff a warm welcome on arrival with complimentary cake and drink room was very clean and warm breakfast was great and set you up for the day
