5/5 Excellent
"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! "

"Second time we have stayed here.
The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful
The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant.
The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too
Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby.
The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. So much so that my wife fell on the floor thinking she was leaning on the bed - but was actually just the mattress topper overhanging the mattress by about 6 inches!
Overall this is a lovely place but could do with modernising. "
"De Broeierd is a beautiful, large old farmhouse built into an interesting and very cozy hotel with a very good restaurant at one end and a lovely "bistro" at the other end. Large outdoor seating areas add to the comfort. The rooms (we had two-level rooms with balconies) are spacious and comfortable, beds very comfortable, but you should be able to climb the typically Dutch steep narrow stairs up to the sleeping area. Our rooms had a few minor glitches (door alarm started beeping intermittently for no reason, shower could have been cleaner), but all in all we loved our stay here (3 nights) and would definitely come back. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. "
