Hotel was in a good location, however customer service person at reception lag friendly hospitality we expect during checking. Room was good, bed were as bad as many other reviews stated but worst thing was this hotel does not provide wifi internet in rooms, which in our view is a basic necessity in the 21st century.

Morning Manny, Thank you for your review. I do apologise that the receptionist was lacking hospitality, I have passed this onto the department manager to ensure that this point is taken on board. At the hotel we are currently upgrading our mattresses, however due to the high volume of rooms, it is not an overnight job. We advertise only wifi in the public areas, but I have passed your comments on to the management team regarding rooms. Kind Regards

On approach, hotel is clean and very accessible. Hotel reception was more than helpful. Bar staff also great. Rooms were all the same size whether you were paying for a family or single occupancy. Beds are absolutely dreadful! I have never experienced a mattress quote so uncomfortable, being pregnant certainly didn’t help. Breakfast was good. Choice was average but not maintained as there was only one server available and he had lots of dirty tables to clean! Spa facilities, nice and quiet. Showers need looked at, either out of order or temperature variable!

Thank you for feedback. At the hotel we are currently updating our mattresses in the room. We have taken the other points on board, and asked all departments to ensure that service & cleanliness is up to date.

Good price

Pros: The spa facilities were great
Cons: The decor is old and very tired
Location: There isn't that much roundabout it. But good location for airport / Glasgow
For cheap accommodation its great and I suppose the old adage of you only get what you pay for in this life is very true. Staff were all very friendly and efficient and I couldn't fault them. However the hotel itself is very very tired. Normally colour schemes don't even register with me but when we stepped out of the lift for the first floor (Yeah we took the lift as we couldn't find the stairs) the garish green really hits you. Not that its green but its far too much. The room itself was okay. However the 2 bulbs in the big lamp didn't work and neither did the bedside lamp. Which is pretty simple maintenance tasks not being carried out. The bed was really old and tired. The pool, steam room and sauna were great although the changing rooms left a lot to be desired. The strange people hanging about the car park may not have anything directly to do with the hotel but its worth pointing out. My wife and I left at 9ish most nights and you could guarantee there were folk just standing about their cars / vans for no apparent reason. Its the hotels land as they take the registration numbers of guests cars. Maybe they should install some sort of secured barrier. We had lunch and for 2 soups and 2 sandwiches and 2 soft drinks it cost us £24. Maybe an honest mistake but they do advertise Soup and Sandwich for £5.95. It was rectified straight away though.

Hotel best for airport parking

A bad experience, during our 1 night stay, there was constant noise from people and also the plumbing from about 5am. The bed was too soft, spa/gym out of action and WiFi didn't work in the bedroom. Very disappointing!

Good 3 star hotel

Booked this hotel as it was cheap and location was ideal for where we needed it to be. Hotel in need of an upgrade. Baths really worn, wall paper peeling off bedroom and beds not all that comfy. We were there for just one night so it was live able. Pool was lovely but again locker doors missing and windows not clean, couldn't see out of them. Dining facilities really nice. What mattered were clean but other areas let down by lack of upkeep. Overall ideal for a cheap night stay but hotel in need of some refurbishment.
