Pub in a quiet setting

Pros: Everything, but especially its location and food.
Cons: Had to wait quite a while at reception both at checking in and checking out, despite ringing the bell several times.
Location: It's set in the middle of nowhere in lovely countryside.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very comfortable and we were pleased to have a bath as well as a shower. We ate each day in the bar area and thought the steak and ale pie was delicious. Don't use satnav to find it, as it takes you down the most horrendous lanes. Use the pub's directions and you'll be much safer!!
