Pros: The friendliness of the staff was exceptional.
We had a lovely stay . The one point that we were annoyed about was that for the duration of the 3 nights that we stayed we did not have access to the dining room. 2 of the nights the dining room was booked for tours and the 3rd night the hotel had a wedding. We ate in the bar and the food was super but as the stay was special occasion it would have been nice to have that extra wee touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Peaceful, classy but not over fussy

Gorgeous views out front, spacious room with spotless bathroom, comfy beds with loads of tea/coffee and toiletries supplied. Bar food serves huge portions of homemade loveliness (lasagne defeated me!) all classic dishes but very well presented. Staff helpful throughout our week. Breakfast had a good range of cooked breakfast, fruit, breads, pastries, cold meats and juices. Loads of parking.

Waiting too long for dinner

Nice hotel but waiting for our dinner for over and hour and aa half which was ridiculous kept asking how long they kept saying a few minutes not impressed

Hotel rooms and corridors need to be freshened up.

Pros: Close to the INEC. The food at breakfast.
Cons: The condition of the hotel and the lack of staff could be improved. If not then it will be a pricey hotel for a very averge experience.
Location: INEC
Hotel check-in was quick, pleasent and informative. The double bed was small. The door to the bathroom was broken. There was no vent working in the bathroom. The curtains were faded in places that it looked like bleach was spilled on them. Breakfast was nice but the re stocking of the cooked food was slow and at times there were no items left despite there been over an hour left to have breakfast. The pastries were thin on the ground. An extra staff member on the floor would have kept the food stocked. When we were there, there was only one memebr of staff greeting people, cleaning tables and restocking food. Another member of front house staff came in to feed herself but not help with the dinning room.

Overnight stay

Very pleasant stay. Everything excellent. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. Particularly loved the Christmas decorations. All over great atmosphere.

Nice hotel, bright, clean, peaceful surroundings.

Pros: A welcoming front interior, bright and warm with big comfortable looking sofas and a fire. The reception desk was not imposing on the decor.
Cons: I would have upgraded to a family suite. There are none in the hotel.
Location: Beautiful Location, lovely views from front of hotel. Within walking distance of Killarney town, the National Park. A short drive from Muckross House.
A 2 night stay with 2 kids, very relaxing, lovely family time. Food good. Great wifi service! Kids happy, Mom and Dad happy. Lovely views of the Kerry Mountains from front of the hotel, the National park was only a walk away. Muckross House was a very short drive from the hotel and Killarney town was within walking distance. The hotel was a calm oasis, with stylish charm, friendly helpful staff and a very pleasent surprise.

it was the most enjoyable stay in killarney ever

Pros: everything in and about the hotel is wonderfull. Food excellent, and price very good.
Cons: NOTHING at all could not find anything wrong in any way
Location: ideal for walking, or a relaxed peacefull break.

Comfortable hotel good parking

Pros: Excellent room for disabled person best bathroom for same
Cons: Smell of stale smoke in corridor should b addresses Service in lobby area
Location: Location good half way between town and Muckross House
Gold location staff generally very helpful. Bar area not wheelchair accessible so we sat at table in just outside bar in lobby waited to order but no one came left after 25mins and went into town to eat.
