Hôtel très bien situé, gare de métro très proche. Restaurant a proximité. Personnel adorable. Vue juste magique sur la One World Trade Center. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Wir hatten ein Epic-Zimmer im 16. Stock. Die Aussicht auf die Skyline mit WTC in unmittelbarer Nähe war atemberaubend und für uns das nachhaltigste Erlebnis in unserer Unterkunft. Jeden Abend ruhten wir uns auf den Fensterbänken unseres Zimmers von den Strapazen der stundenlangen Fussmärsche durch NY Strassen aus und genossen dabei den atemberaubenden Anblick der beleuchteten Skyline. Das Zimmer war genial, auch wenn punkto Sauberkeit und Raumausstattung nicht alles so leuchtend war. Optimal ist der Anschluss an das Subway Netz. In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man alle wichtigen Stationen, egal ob Down oder Up. Aussergewöhnlich ist die Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten NY's. WTC-Tower sowie 9/11 Museum sind in 3 Min. erreichbar. In 15-20 Min. zu Fuss erreicht man die Fähre zu Liberty Island, Staten Island, Governors Island (sehr zu empfehlen), Brooklyn-Bridge oder Charging Bull (v.a. für Frauen). Etwas überrascht waren wir beim Check-Out, als wir noch $ 321 für Destinationsgebühren und Taxen nachzahlen mussten. In der Abrechnung des Reiseveranstalters waren aber bereits Steuern und Gebühren verrechnet. Und die in der Unterkunft zu bezahlende Destinationsgebühr wurde vom Reiseveranstalter lediglich mit CHF 255 ausgewiesen. So what, wir kommen wieder. Und "The Washington" wird zu oberst auf unserer Unterkunftsliste stehen.

Wir waren im Dezember 2021 im Hotel für 3 Nächte. Leider hatten wir in diesem Hotel nur Probleme!! Angekommen und es gab ein Systemproblem, sodass wir länger warten mussten & erst später ins Zimmer durften. Es hiess wir müssten nochmals am nächsten Morgen an die Rezeption, da das System uns nich einchecken konnte. Leider änderte sich jeden Tag die Rezeptionisten und daher wussten die Neuen nicht, dass es ein Systemproblem am ersten Tag gab! Kommunikation unter dem Team war sehr schlecht & das Personal war sehr unfreundlich und hat uns auch persönlich angegriffen.! Zudem wurden wir am letzten Tag aus unserem Zimmer ausgeschlossen da es Kommunikationsprobleme unter dem Team gab. Die Einen meinten es gäbe kein Problem & die Anderen meinten wir hätten nicht bezahlt. Dadurch das wir über Eebookers bezahlt hatten, war dies natürlich nicht der Fall. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen!
