Large room, bad view

Nice hotel with great views of florence

We stayed at hotel balestri for 3 nights. The hotel is in the heart of florence. Walking distance from all the main sights in florence. We have a comfortable stay at this hotel. Would stay here again.

Renovation hoffentlich noch ausstehend...

Leicht in die Jahre gekommen aber ganz OK. Da gibt es noch richtige Roehren-TVs! Wir hatten das Glueck, dass die WC-Spuelung defekt war und wurden ins "Penthouse" verlegt. Dieses Zimmer mit Dachterasse war einiges moderner und schoener. WC mit Marmor :-) Das Personal machte einen abweisenden und unfreundlichen Eindruck mit Ausnahme eines Herrn, der uns sehr behilflich war bei der Automiete. Seine Kollegin hat ihm aber zurechtgewiesen; wir sollen gefaelligst selber die Autovermietagentur anrufen und dabei gedacht, wir verstehen kein Italienisch. Amuesant.
