As you get at the hotel you are greeted by big ugly scaffolding, then you enter the property you noticed the look of an old shattered hotel from decades ago. Then you think this is classed as a 4* hotel????? How is this even possible? If you need to stay here just expect 1* only

Return visit

Visiting my daughter who lives close by ,love stopping at the Burlington for modern and comfortness .and had a lovely surprise this time as we were upgraded to superior room, which was amazing , will be booking again after Christmas x

Very nice hotel, close to the promenade. V/Good

Pros: Cleanliness and locality
Cons: Car parking a bit sparse.
Location: Just stayed overnight. Very handy for a nice stroll along the promenade. Terrific views from there.
Stayed overnight before journeying onwards. Comfortable beds cheerful service.

Stay for wedding

We were in Folkstone for a close friends wedding. The hotel was perfectly located and we were able to see the beautiful views of the town. The room was lovely, quite modern, cleaned every day and the bathroom was nice and spacious. As the weather was quite hot we did find the room to be too hot at night and would have loved to have air conditioning. Other than that we had no complaints.

Ecellent Hotel!

Pros: Staff, building, food quality, location
We had such an excellent stay at the Burlington Hotel. The building itself is absolutely amazing and very british, the photos already give you a good impression of the beauty of the hotel. The location is also very good as it as almost directly at the seafront. However the best about the hotel is the staff: We had dinner in the restaurant and we had the most thougthful waiter ever. He was very polite and refined and made us fell like very appreciated guests. We even got a dessert for free as the one we wanted was not available! The food quality was also just excellent - they serve local groceries and meat of the highest quality. It was just the best hotel experience we ever had (I'm not exaggerating).
