Unfortunately didn't get to experience anything other than checking in on account of the door being locked upon return after night out. Was left a key for rear entrance as pub shuts at 11pm, was back shortly after 12 to discover a broken lock meant I couldn't get in. No emergency number to call, and no onsite presence meant a less than enjoyable experience. Luckily, I used to live in the area and an ex neighbour was able to put me up for the night. Not happy to say the least.

Comfy bed but couldn't have breakfast :(

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night as we had a paintball tournament just 7mind up the road. We didn't arrive untill late afternoon evening but never the less check in was straight forward and were given the keys to our twin room. Out room was clean and the beds comfy, the bathroom was functional but very dated colour (olive green) and could do with a revamp. Food was was fine and what we expected to be honest. The biggest let down was breakfast, we booked B+B but when checking in we were told that breakfast service was later at weekends (we stayed Saturday night) and started at 9. We had to leave earlier than that so were going to miss it. We were not offered a bowl of cereal or anything that we could have taken up tp our room that we could have before we left nor were we offered a reduction in our room rate for missing out. We payed £80 B+B but without the breakfast so to me that is VERY expensive and would think twice before booking here again.
