Great place for a travelling stopover. Warm clean room and excellent food. Wood fired pizza in a Highland moorland inn? I wouldn't expect it to be that good but it was one of the best ive had in the uk. Breakfast also excellent and plentiful.

Handy for Ullapool ferry

Coming from Edinburgh it was an ideal stopover before getting the early ferry to Stornaway. The inn was pet friendly unlike most of the Ullapool accommodation we looked at. The hostess was really friendly and the food was good

Excellent base for outdoor activities,

Pros: Every thing
Location: If you want a base for touring and doing hill walking or proposing to your girlfriend then its ideal location.
Just what we needed for wee highland weekend of walking, talking, relaxing and getting away from it all. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Owners and staff very welcoming made a very special occasion all the better. Cannot recommend more highly. Food also of good quality and will definitely be using again.

hôtel isolé en pleine campagne

Pros: Sa situation. L'amabilité du personnel.
Cons: Le prix beaucoup trop élevé.La confort des chambres, leur agencement. Le mobilier demande à être rajeuni, surtout avec un tel prix.
Accueil agréable mais qui pour autant n'a rien d'extraordinaire. Solitaire au milieu des landes battues par le vent, le site est assez exceptionnel mais la qualité de l'infrastructure ne justifie pas un prix aussi élevé. L'hôtel est en effet plutôt modeste et le confort juste acceptable. A déconseiller à ceux qui craignent les midges, le site en est infesté !
