The hotel is beautiful and has a nice view of the river. It's in the center of town and within walking distance of pretty much everything. The train station is only a 3 minute walk away. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is a kettle in the room and some tea bags and instant coffee. I would suggest bringing slippers as the floors are cold. I would also suggest staying on the 2nd floor or higher, don't pick the lower level. The lower level (ground level) is right on the street, reception is on the 1st floor. The only complaint I have is that when we checked in we were told that the bar and restaurant were closed. It was New Year's Eve and we were planning on being able to eat in the restaurant and get some drinks in the bar. I had checked their official website and there was no mention of this. We weren't told why. I don't know if it was because of New Year's Eve or if it was because there was a wedding in the hotel that evening. Either way we should have been informed before our visit. We had just recently stayed at a Clarion Collection hotel for Christmas and they called us the week before to find out if we had any dietary restrictions since their regular chef would not be working on Christmas day and they needed to plan ahead. Now that was some customer service! In addition, the sauna, gym, and jacuzzi facilities were only available in the afternoon (something like 4pm to 9/10pm), so we didn't get to use these either as we were busy New Year's Eve.
