Near to town, poor housekeeping.i saw a duty manager who was cleaning cutlery and wine glasses touching her nose and coughing into her hands.

Everything was outstanding apart from TV reception. It was abysmal. Unwatchable. Only down side to this fabulous place.

Bedroom: The refurbished bedrooms were of a good standard. However, storage units were very much lacking. A chest of drawers would have enabled guests not to keep clothes in their suitcases, plus wardrobe storage was minimal and it would have been beneficial to have had doors on it, rather than clothes be on view all the time. If there were brakes on the bed wheels, they were not in use. As the bedrooms have hard floors with no rugs or carpeting, the beds moved very easily across the floor, if they were sat upon. This could cause someone to be injured if the bed moved away from them, causing a person to unexpectedly land on the floor. Hygiene: Bedding. The pillows did not have pillow protector cases on them - unhygienic. One of the pillows supplied actually had missing stitching, causing the pillow filling to unravel. The pillow cases were about 6 - 8 cms., too short for the actual pillows, therefore with no protectors in use, guests were actually sleeping on a partially uncovered pillow! Again this is unhygienic and unacceptable. Hygiene: Bathroom. The toilet roll holder is placed in the most unhygienic position being low on the wall at W.C. height and very close to it. This means that anyone not sitting on the W.C. seat when using the toilet causes urine droplets to spray all over the toilet rolls, floor, and over anything within close proximity of the W.C., which would include any uncovered toothbrushes placed on the sink top! No storage for toiletries

Very nice hotel, recently refurbished to a very high standard, hotel staff very nice and friendly, food and meals were excellent, highly recommend this hotel.
