This hotel is lovely however its was going through extensive renovation when I stayed there. The rooms are well appointed, modern and comfortable. All the staff are welcoming and the restaurant is extremely nice with a good choice of reasonably priced food.

Our second stay. The staff just cannot do enough for you. Our room was lovely and well appointed barring a n unsightly large stain on the carpet at the entrance. The bathroom was the largest and most luxurious I have ever seen with a shower, spa bath, bidet and 2 sinks. The hospitality tray disappointed and the television reception was poor but these were trivial issues. Breakfast OK. Tinned grapefruit and tangerines. Only creamy yogurts. My husband ordered bacon tomato and mushroom but received bacon, sausage and black pudding. The waitress was a gem though. Overall very good and I recommend it as a true Scottish haven
