I thought the rooms are a bit dated, and need to be refurbished asap. Also upon my booking I requested king sized beds, however in my room I was given 2 single beds put together to make it a king sized bed. The seam in the middle made it very uncomfortable.

Excellent pleasant and empathic staff. Very helpful when I had to change room due to excessive noise at 4am and Duty Manageress Doreen latterly waived parking charge as a goodwill gesture. Expensive hotel given that rooms are of a similar standard to major budget hotels but Glasgow is a very congested city where centrally located hotels can charge premium rates.

My family and I found the beds very uncomfortable. The mattresses may as well have been made of brick! The A/C and heating fan was fine on full blast but when the fan was turned down the noise was awful, it was loud, screeching etc. The toilet made unsettling, very loud noise after being flushed that lasted quite a while and the cistern kept running and refilling making the noise quite annoying through the night while trying to sleep. I also found the £169.00 very expensive for one night in this hotel. For that price I’d expect the bed to be comfortable at least. The restaurant is very expensive, £50 for ribs, a salad and kids macaroni with fries and I was shocked to find they added 12.5% gratuity to my bill!! However, the room was clean and the staff were excellent.

Low standard

The brand name to me was initially a 5-star hotel and should be a high standard hotel. I was surprised that the shower curtain was so smelly. Some of the cleaning sets like toothbrush were missing and I have to request for it. That was never happened in my experience.

Dated

Disappointed by how dated the room was. Booked what was defined as a ‘deluxe’ room and whilst clean, the room could not be described as deluxe. Very dated!!

City center hotel

The room was clean and had everything that we needed, some of the facilities are quite dated, there was refurbishment going on during our stay. The problem was that the reception staff were extremely rude to us and unhelpful because of this I wouldn't return.
