I was expecting a property of this period to be showing signs of age. Far from it: no squeaky floorboards, good plumbing excellent shower. My main disappointment was that my room window faced the station platform. Although double glazing kept out noise there was a lack of ventilation at times. Overall I would stay here again as the staff were friendly, courteous and professional regarding their treatment of customers.

nice hotel for function with overnight stay but experience wasted by very damp smell in room possibly coming from shower drain in bathroom

Noisy, very noisy even due to the main station nearby. Bathroom not checked every day. No power plug in the bathroom.
