Basic is what you get. Grubby chipped paintwork. Dirty shower seals. Sticky vinyl bedroom floor. Very cosy toilet space and shower opens straight on to your bedroom. Tea and coffee only available on 6th floor reception to take back to your room. View from room was smokers quadrant in the centre of the hotel. If you want somewhere just to drop your bags and go then this will suit you.

Dear Anonymous, Your feedback is very much appreciated, thank you for letting us know how you feel about your stay. I am really disappointed to read that your stay did not met your expectations and that you did not enjoy the layouts of our rooms and found it unclean as this is not the service we strive to provide. I really hope that we will welcome you again to show you we care about you, Best regards,

Nothing to write home about

This hotel is extremely basic with very little comfort features . It sufficed as “a bed for the night” but we wouldn’t have been able to spend any length of time in the room due to it being so basic and small. It should be made clearer that the shower/sink area is open to the room. There are no tea/coffee making facilities within the room (you have to go to the lobby to make this) there are no plug sockets near the mirrors so this made trying to dry/style hair very difficult. The mattresses were very hard and the room became very warm overnight with no way of cooling it down so it became uncomfortable. Didn’t bother with breakfast as we didn’t think it would be up to much, we opted to go to the Frankie & Bennys within the entertainment park. Only plus side really is the location is quite good but certainly wouldn’t stay here again and especially not for the price I paid!

Overnight for gig at the Hydro

Comfortable stay for a gig at the Hydro which is only a 15 mins walk. Hotel room all that you need. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Free parking which is a bonus.

At just after 7am on the Sunday morning of our stay, the fire alarm went off. After speaking to the front desk staff, apparently this happens every day because guests place croissants etc into the toasters, even though there are notices advising them not to do this. Maybe you could just provide appropriate toasters/sandwich grills or toaster bags that would mitigate for guests who ignore your written notices?

cheap but poor

the rooms were stuck at around an estimated 30C, too hot to sleep, even with the windows wide open and no bed covers. nothing could be done about this, apparently, although we were offered iced water.

Ultra basic

Pros: Not a lot
Cons: You get what you pay for
Location: On retail park so movies and usual eating chains close and free parking in multi storey car park
OK for an overnight stay, no kettle, wardrobe, seat, (plastic tub) Free tea and coffee, continental breakfast ok but extra, shower good but cramped, ok for family's with limited funds.

Close to Glasgow city

It was a nice hotel - very clean. However, remember that it is a budget hotel! The toilet is very small, and the shower is in view of all roommates. Aside from this, I thought it was great value for money. The staff were very kind and helpful also. Worth the money.
