After booking property Karen was really helpful and the gent on check in was super friendly and helpful. We were helped with our room choice as there were 4 adults sharing. Rooms very clean, warm. Breakfast was very nice with full English available. My Review is genuine and I give five stars because the entire experience was great. *****

Handy for the city and GRFC

Good hotel for the money 10 mins from the city centre. We stayed in the budget room which was clean, comfortable and adequate for our short term needs. Breakfast good.

Not so bad

So this place is alright, we stayed here for a night and I can’t find any major issues but I don’t have any compliments. When we first entered the hotel we were greeted by a lady who was a little rude, it wasn’t a huge problem but my partner and I had the same thought as we walked up the stairs to reception. The room was nice but it lacked personality, their were some touches but it didn’t make any sort of impact which is a shame. So my last negative comment is more of a personal suggestion, the toiletries such as shampoo and body wash are provided but you only get 2 packets of each; now I think it instantly looks cheap and, as a customer these are the sort of packets which are given away as free samples. Good location into the centre, the breakfast was nice and the rooms were quiet!

One night stay

Friendly staff, stayed in family room, very clean but quite cold. Needs a door replaced to make room more cozy as external door currently in bedroom

last minute break

Pros: The breakfast was very good and the car park was handy.
Cons: I think some soap could be provided, for hand washing.
Location: The location was good, it was easy to walk to the centre of the city and quays.
We found the hotel easily and it was a good base for exploring Gloucester and the local area.
