The facilities were really good, elegant property, nice size room, comfortable bed. The dinner was very tasty and I had a nice relaxing evening. My only two problems were that, firstly, the service in the bar was really slow. Every time I went up I waited for several minutes to be served. There were lots of staff but just slow progress, pity because virtually everything else was really good. I also had a minor, slightly alarming problem in the room when I lightly leant on the sink in the bathroom and it came away from the wall! I tilted it back and the taps still worked but I thought it was going to fall on my foot!. Apart from that, it was very good

I like a lot about the property. The dinner menu is brilliant and well priced. Rooms are clean and with very nice bathrooms. The room itself looks a bit knackered but nevertheless clean

Really nice place to stay

Pros: Very comfortable, staff very nice people
Location: The Village is very nice
I stayed for 3 nights for work, the hotel is very comfortable, and the staff really nice, I stayed in one of the Superior rooms on the ground floor, which was very nice, but I was disappointed not to have a 4 poster bed as expected from the photo on the ebookers website..

Old World hotel

Pros: Its convenience for visits to places of interest. Easy to find. Very pleasant staff
Cons: The food. Only average at best, often rather over-cooked. Paint work in public rooms
Location: Chedworth Roman villa was an unexpected delight.
Good. The room was great, the pubic rooms have had some up dating, but could do with more.
