Hi Steve, Thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear you had a positive experience with us, how ever there is some points of your stay that raises a concern for me. Apologies about the birds situation, Unfortunately this is something we have been trying to rectify the most humane way possible for many months now. We have installed bird netting etc, but it seems that the birds will not find a new home. How ever we will endeavor to hopefully remove them in 2018. During your time with us we did have issues with the internet from our internet provider, unfortunately this was an issue outside of our control, how ever i will offer my apologies as this was a sore point of your experience. Mercure Gold Coast Resort offers its guests a full-service spa, 2 the outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis courts, and a health club. There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/café. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include A poolside bar and A bar/lounge. A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. Business amenities include a business centre and a limo/town car service. Event space at this hotel measures 10097 square feet (938 square metres) and includes conference centres. A kids' pool, a hot tub, and a sauna are also featured at the luxury Mercure Gold Coast Resort. An airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service are available for a fee.
