Für eine Nacht ok

Cons: Besserer Service für Hotelgäste.
Location: Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vom Flughafen Edinburgh. Ideal für die Durchreise.
Wir haben unsere Ferien in der Nähe von Aberdeen verbracht. Auf der Rückreise von Aberdeen nach Edinburgh war das Helix Hotel unsere letzte Station für die letzte Nacht. Das Zimmer war klein, war zweckmässig zum schlafen, mit einem Badezimmer (Dusche & WC), einem Doppelbett und einem Schrank ausgestattet. Leider stand man auch schon, nach öffenen der Tür vom Gang neben dem Bett. Es hatte keinen seperaten Eingangsbereich im Zimmer. Es war dadruch sehr ringhörig wenn andere Gäste die Zimmertüren knallten und Nachts laut miteinander kommunizierten. Aber für eine Nacht war es ganz ok. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von der Industrie. Die Luft ist belastet mit verschiedenen Gerüchen. Und vor dem Hotel machte die Gegend nicht gerade einen vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck. Nach der Ankuft am Abend, haben wir im Restaurant nichts mehr zu Essen bestellen können. Auch in den angrenzenden Restaurants war ein Essen nach 20 Uhr nicht mehr möglich. Am Empfang wurde uns der Schlüssel und ein Code für die Tür übergeben. Sonst machte das Hotel einen Personal verlassenen Eindruck.
