Property was old and dated. Breakfast setup was strange, there was loads of staff but you had to pour your own drinks. I ordered poached eggs on toast and was advised the eggs would come on their own and I had to make my own toast. By the time the eggs arrived my toast was stone cold. Expensive for what it was.

The hotel is in need of a face lift Super location up it is spoilet by the dated interior. Staff do the best they can with what they have got.

Nice location ideal for Bluewater shopping, try and get room with lake view otherwise you get the car park.

Visiting area in Medway we left in 2016

Pros: Convenient location for our visit. Offered everything we needed for our stay.
Cons: Better signage from motorway to hotel. Found it very difficult to locate once we turned off motorway. By luck we saw a brown symbol with a bed on it
Location: Good location for Bluewater and visits to Medway attractions such as Rochester castle and cathedral
Friendly welcome at reception. Accommodation clean albeit a little dated. Beds were a little uncomfortable and would have liked a second pillow. Bathroom door kept catching on floor which made it difficult to open and close. Enjoyed restaurant food. Good menu choice and generous portions. Good variety of breakfast choices. Something for everyone. Overall were happy with our stay. Thought it was good value for money

decent hotel, slightly dated, but with character

Pros: rooms, service most of the food very good wifi parking
Cons: orange juice bacon tea choices at breakfast, eg earl grey tea
Location: some rooms overlook a lake, very nice in good weather, sitting areas outside Chatham marina stuff not far away close to A2
lovely lakeside location - good access to A2 and surrounding areas I have stayed here now three times - so keep going back, on business trips the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable some of the decor in the hotel is dated,70s, but with character! the food is pretty good, nice choice - dinner, had good sea bass, mussels, cod, other dishes, not had a steak yet, maybe next time - mid range prices, decent choice of wines by glass and bottle... breakfast - excellent sausages and eggs, bacon average,orange juice very poor, little choice of teas and coffee in one of those stewing percolators! but overall decent food friendly attentive staff, good free wifi, plenty of parking

Ideal base for Bluewater shopping

Pros: It's location and it's reasonable cost.
Cons: The beds could be comfier.
Location: Bluewater shopping centre is only about 7 miles down the motorway.
The hotel is basic, but adequate. We were a party of three adults, and shared a room with three single beds. Two of the beds had mattresses that had springs poking up, giving two of our party a sleepless night. The bathroom was clean, with plenty of clean, but thin, towels. The staff are all very helpful, so we couldn't fault the customer service. Breakfast was standard fare, although as we only chose toast and croissants, I cannot comment on the cooked breakfast options. All in all, it was a good stay, with the quality of the hotel reflected in their reasonable nightly rates.
