Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Arrived an hour early and our room was ready so we checked. We had a lovely breakfast with a wide selection of hot and cold food. There was a Jersey Boys tribute night on so we booked a table and it was a very good evening. Food very nice with half bottle of wine pp, good value for money. All the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful hotel, nice food and friendly staff. The suite we stayed in was complete luxury and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Would definitely be recommending this hotel!

Close to Tilbury Docks

Very grand looking hotel, clearly focused on the wedding sector. My review is primarily due to the awful room I stayed in - and the response I received when complaining about it to reception staff. Room was in an outbuilding which was in the car park - away from the main building. Room was small, but looked quite nice. Sink in bathroom was totally inadequate (way too small), but issue was the poor noise insulation. It is a large hotel, and this room shows blatant profiteering- and if you want to milk every possible opportunity, you need to ensure rooms are properly and adequately insulated against noise

Dear Jonah, Many thanks for your feedback. Regarding your room I believe from your description was one of the single lodges located at the beginning of the car park. We have information regarding the noise issues especially on function nights on every website in order to inform the guests prior to booking those rooms and also of the location of the rooms. We do have superior doubles too but not at the same price like the single lodges if you wish to stay with us in the future.
