Nice, comfortable hotel.Good location close to M25

Pros: The location, the overall appearance and good standard of accommodation for the price we paid.
Cons: All the bedding ... The duvets and pillows need to be looked at and replace the ones that are now going 'lumpy'
Location: Short distance from Lakeside shopping area. Good location for M25.
This is a nice, comfortable hotel in a good location for the M25 and other road networks. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable although I do have to say that in my opinion the duvets and pillows need replacing now as they are starting to go 'lumpy'. The bed linen was good quality and nice and clean. We slept very well. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with ample towels and toiletries. The self service breakfast in the morning was excellent having lots of choice in both continental and hot food. We were not hurried in anyway. ;The staff are very courteous and helpful. Overall a very pleasing experience and we would book again if we are offered a good priced deal online.

social trip

nice little hotel ,easy to park,rooms are at anex at rear ,dining room has good views ,but breakfast was expensive and disapointing,but staff are friendly and helpfull

one night stay

We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding near by. Check out is at 12 which is fine but twice our door was knocked on in the morning at around 8am and again around 10.45 by maids/cleaners to see if we wanted more t-bags/milk/suger! After a late night out we found this annoying. Please just put extra in the room in the first place and don't knock until at least 20 mins before checkout if you have to !! Other than that the hotel is fine and would stay again.

What a refreshing retreat

From the moment we got there we were made to feel important to the staff. I had stayed in your Cardiff hotel and thats why i booked here. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were nice and friendly, what a pleasure it was to stay there.The bed was very comfortable to. We will be staying here again. Thanks guys for a great weekends hospitality.

Good accommodation

Living in Lancashire we need somewhere to stay regularly when visiting my mother of 97 in a rest home in Grays. We feel now we have found a good place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable, despite some problems with heating. Also having a double bed fixed to the wall caused problems with the second person getting in or out of bed, especially bearing in mind that this was a room for a person with a disability. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were very chearful and helpful.

Excellent

this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, clean rooms, excellent customer service, all staff extremely helpful and polite, couldn't have asked for a more relaxing weekend break
