Good location

I had expectations of the Radisson Blu when I booked. However, I was slightly disappointed. It wasn't a 5star. The breakfast was good, but the service was disappointing. 2/3 days we stayed I had to request toast and tea and was not offered this when we first were sat down.

Very good but interior furnishings tired and worn

Pros: Location, room size and layout and very efficient staff.
Cons: Room interior freshen up.
Location: Great!
Furnishings in the room ok, but all starting to look rather tired and worn, plus chairs in reception worn and stained. Hotel very comfortable and staff great.

Excellent Hotel near to Glasgow Central Station.

Pros: The hotel is very close to Central Station and within easy walking distance to all the main shops.
Cons: Just keep up the current standards we encountered.
Location: We didn't really have time to do things nearby as we stayed specifically to see a band playing in a local pub.
Just stayed one night at this hotel, We were made very welcome, the rooms were big and well laid out. The breakfast was excellent.

Somewhat great trip

I went to this hotel for 4nights during the valentines weekend, we arrived early at the hotel and the reception kindly checked us in early. because we were there for a few nights, they gave us a room at the back so we would not be disturbed by noise which was very nice. This hotel is situated in a very ideal place next to lots of shops and restaurants which is ideal, and its opposite the train station so u can visit other parta of Scotland is u wish. The only bad experience i faced was that my partner and i as we slept kept getting cuts on our legs by a loose sharp object in the matress. I complained to reception and they appolgised and said its becauae the room we were staying in had not had its matresses changed yet which i thought was a poor excuse considering how long we stayed at the hotel and how much we paid. A restful, peaceful and painless sleep is the most important part of our trip and we couldnt enjoy that. Aside from this the staff and the general people of glasgow are absolutly outstandingly friendly.

Fantastic Hotel

From check in to check out the staff made my wife and I feel right at home. We were allowed into our room at 1030 which was a bonus. All aspects of the hotel met our expectations and we will certainly stay again. Great location too.

Relaxing break

Perfect location. Staff faultless. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but plentiful. Beds weren't the comfiest but still had a relaxing time.

Two night stay.

Not realy a 5 star hotel in any way. Very plain with little that stands out. Rooms were clean and tidy but very ordinary for the price. View into a dreary courtyard which was very disapointing. On the plus point the location is excellent for Glasgow Central Station but there are many others just as central and much more reasonably priced. Can't see us going back here in a hurry.
