Amazing room

Gisborough hall looks amazing outside and in. The room was huge, we stayed in the Woodland wing a sister part of a wedding guest (have a look around for cheaper prices- even with discount it was cheaper online than through then directly). My only gripe was on arrival I was asked to pay for the room which I had already done on booking, just watch out for that, I have no doubt it was a genuine accident but just make sure whoever books it is aware of whether or not its been paid.

Pros: All of it
Cons: A pool would have been good
Location: Los of things to see and do around the area
I got married on sat and the manager Kym had a room ready for us to get changed in as we were travelling for two hours and didn't want to get creased up and we also got an upgrade on our room which was lovely, had a wonderful time and I will most certainly go back again.

Brilliant location for the Moors

We stayed for a visit to the Moors last weekend. We arrived much later than expected, just as the restaurant was due to close, but the staff kept it open for us and let us check into our rooms and arranged pre-dinner drinks - nothing was too much for them. We were unhurried. Bedrooms were a little dated, though looks like some have been changed - plus they're reasonably large for the price. Pillows a little too unsupportive. Overall great hotel - would definitely stay again.

Lovely Business trip

My work colleagues had been raving about this hotel and so I was very happy when I was able to secure a reservation at a discount price. The hotel lived up to the recommendation. Lovely split level bedroom which backed onto the surrounding woods. Quiet and comfy room.- excellent dinner. The lemon posset was to die for. Breakfast was laid out beautifully. Staff were friendly and seemed pleased to help.

Excellent stay.

Wonderful stay at this historical hotel. Stayed in the extended Woodland wing and enjoyed all the modern comforts. Large room, top quality bed and linens, huge bathroom with two wash basins, bath and seperate shower cubicle. Enjoyed a breakfast cooked to order (not buffet) with continental or full english selections. Great atmosphere in the the lounge/bar area at night in the original old house. Special mention though to all the hardworking front and back of house staff. Couteous, polite and very efficient. Will be back!
