Contrary to others criticisms in reviews I found check-in very easy and efficient and flexible. My polite suggestion is - I asked receptionist at Holiday Inn to help me fing a swimming pool and she gave me the standard type reply - Try "Fitness First", But even from Ireland I know that company don't have pools-just gyms. That would have been v-helpful to me because its what ai am interested in. I think help us to plan our most want to see and do might be a really good idea? But receptionists were all professionally respectful.

No water the room is small for kids and mother

500 Metre walk from car to room. No chair or table

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, Transport links into Hamburg excellent.
Cons: Parking, Check in, distance to trooms from parking. Management attitude. Room facilities. no desk for computer. WiFi logon.
Location: Hamburg is so big, lots to do here.
It is rare for us to write a bad review, but the problems here are systemic, not just a one off. Arrived at 8pm, parked, had to walk 300M with luggage to check in, then 200m to room. Room had no chair or table, mattress did not fit the base, sitting on the bed was very uncomfortable. Room had no open shelves, large cupboards, full height doors resulted in not being able to use floor space in front. Noisy shower fan. No shower gel/soap, only bubble bath. Breakfast. Another hike, staff did not know where breakfast room was located. Walked over 500m before finding the correct room. Internet. Could not log on as my email address contained a number character. Wrong format error message. Reception advice useless. By trial and error I discovered any 6 character email address actually did work. e;g mrnobody@mrnobody.com worked fine. But that was an hour wasted. Breakfast was excellent, Transport links into Hamburg excellent. We did inform management that we would be writing this review.

Für einen kurz Tripp liegt das Hotel super. Die Zimmer sind gut. Die Lage finde ich auch sehr gut da es vor dem Hotel direkt eine Bushaltestelle hat mit der man überall sehr schnell hin kommt. Das einzige was ich zu be menngel habe ist, dass morgens das Personal nicht wirklich leise ist und man wirklich alles hört und man daher nicht mehr schlafen kann!

Die Lage .grosszügig freundlich.gutes Frühstück Preis Leistung.Negativ ist wenn man das Zimmer im 4.stock neben der Küche hat ist es ab 06.00h bis 11.00h lährmig wie in einem Bowling Center.Nichts für Langschläfer.

So kleine Zimmer sind eine Zumutung. Frühstücksraum viel zu klein.Hotel weit weg vom Zentrum und schlechte Verbindung mit OV.
