Given a wheel chair assist room for some reason, bathroom floor is wet right through the night once you use the shower, buttons missing from shower , disgusting stain on shower curtain. And a very bright light inside the room above the door.

Check in was smooth and easy, the receptionist efficient and friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Beds were comfy, the room clean. Breakfast was fine, not amazing but possibly the fact it was Holiday Inn Express maybe that’s why they didn’t a huge choice. What was there was fine.

Friendly & helpful reception staff. Room/ bathroom very clean . Only complaint cleaners attempting to get into rooms to clean despite us being allowed to check out at 11am.

Convenient

Pros: Convenient location. Breakfast included.
Cons: Considering the price charged I would not expect much more.
Location: Convenient for Glasgow, Strathclyde Park.
Just an overnight stay whilst attending a family funeral. A bit basic but nonetheless clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent and very helpful when answering questions. The duty manager was especially helpful when enquiring about travel times. We requested a double but none were available at our early check-in time which was understandable. Breakfast was again a bit basic but suited us. Not suitable for those that wan the full english but plenty of cereals, toast, tea/coffee, fruit juices plus some well cooked scrambled egg and sausages!! Would definitely stay there again.

Poor customer service

I would not suggest you let this put you off, however having the receptionist shout "don't come back" to a quest whilst he has several other guests watching is not good. We also had an issue with the same receptionist when we asked for a taxi to be booked, he was rather standoffish to the point of being rude. The hotel itself is nice enough for the price paid. There is a sign in the bathroom offering to bring to you "anything you have forgotten" however when we asked for iron to be brought to our room, we were told we had to go to reception to collect!
