Could do with a little up date. I.e. more than one plug socket in a room. Extractor fans in the bathroom. Maybe an iron and iron boarding in each room.

Convenient location for access to the university

Room allocation was messed up but resolved fairly quickly. Hotel clean but could do with updating. Staff helpful. Good budget hotel.

second rate

We found that overall the bedroom was in need of a good clean and refurbishment. decor looked tired and dull. En-suite bathroom was in urgent need of upgrading. Bath enamel worn and dull, WC and wash hand basin in similar state. Bath mat black and mouldy on underside, indicitave of poor cleaning procedures and supervision. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. Would not reccommend this hotel. We complained to the hotel management and received a new bath mat and a note of apology along with a £10 discount on our final bill. The Management admitted that the cleanliness was not up to standard
